“There was seven of us in the house growing up and it was just full of culture and music. All of my mum's siblings were heavily influenced by music; old school, soul, R&B, hip hop and basement. Music was always playing, I think that's where my love for music begun.”

“Coming from ends in South Manchester, being part of the LGBT Q plus A community, wasn't something I could be proud of growing up. I never even remember seeing anyone like me around, so I had to teach myself to be tough and always have my own and probably how to blend in the atmosphere I was born in and grew up in.”
