AT MOVES WE’RE BUILDING A CATALOGUE OF MOVEMENT-MINDED CREATORS.
The more people in positions of influence – such as directors, producers, photographers, videographers, sound designers, writers,etc. – who come from dance backgrounds, the better equipped we are to advocate for the interests of dancers and the dance industry.
What we’re Looking for?
AT MOVES WE’RE LOOKING FOR MOVEMENT-BASED SUBMISSIONS THAT EXPLORE THEMES SURROUNDING CULTURE, HISTORY, LIFESTYLE, IDENTITY, FASHION, MUSIC, ART AND DANCE-POLITICS.
THESE CAN BE IN THE FORM OF FASHION EDITORIALS, CONCEPTS, SHORT FILMS, FINE ART, ILLUSTRATION, DESIGN AND MUSIC VIDEOS.
WE ALSO PUBLISH INTERVIEWS, ARTICLES AND THINK PIECES.

How to Submit/Pitch an Idea?
for Fashion Editorials, Concepts and Short films
1 | PLEASE OUTLINE THE TITLE OF YOUR PITCH IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL.
2 | DESCRIBE YOUR NARRATIVE/CONCEPT IN NO MORE THAN 250 WORDS.
3 | PROVIDE FULL TEAM CREDITS, (OR INTENDED TEAM), OF YOUR PRODUCTION.
4 | FOR STYLISTS, PLEASE LET US KNOW WHICH BRANDS YOU’RE HOPING TO PULL FROM. IF ACCEPTED, WE CAN PROVIDE A PULL LETTER FOR THE STYLIST.
5 | FOR FASHION EDITORIALS ATTACH YOUR WARDROBE CREDITS IN RELATION TO EACH IMAGE.
6 | IF YOU’VE ALREADY SHOT YOUR SUBMISSION, PLEASE ATTACH YOUR WORK EITHER BY PDF OR A DROPBOX, GOOGLE DRIVE OR FRAME.IO LINK.

1 | IF YOU HAVEN’T HEARD BACK FROM US WITHIN 2 WEEKS, YOU CAN ASSUME THAT YOUR SUBMISSION HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF SUBMISSIONS THAT WE RECEIVE WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO ALL OF OUR SUBMITTERS.
2 | ACCEPTING YOUR PITCH DOESN’T ASSURE THAT YOUR WORK WILL BE PUBLISHED, EVEN IF WE’VE PROVIDED A PULL LETTER. THE FINAL MEDIA MUST BE A TRUE REFLECTION OF THE PITCH, WHILE FITTING WITHIN THE STYLE OF OUR BRAND.
